Inspired by a centuries-old Japanese technique, this floor-standing candelabra tells its story through a charred surface, a poetic accident born when burnt candles began to char the rough wooden prototypes at Kocherlball, Munich's beloved midsummer celebration. Attendees bought them straight from the table that night, and the first edition was born.
